My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Since there had been a prior collapse of a portion of the tower in 1674, it is good they are keeping up maintenance work on it now...another well composed and interesting view of your country.
If that scaffolding up there is the standard 5-foot type, that means it's 45 feet from that delicate-looking "rail" around the first crown of the tower, up to the beginning of the conical green roof. One helluva vantage point for a photographer, C. Have you or any photographers been allowed up there for just such a photographic mission? As always, another fascinating glimpse into the architecture and society of your country. You're an outstanding ambassador for the Netherlands.
