This is the 3rd one of the 'Pioneering' Spirit' series, consisting of 6 photographs
Meanwhile the 'Pioneering Spirit' has made a turn of 180° and is preparing to unload some parts of a jackup rig.
PS: in our local papers there was much attention paid about the 'port visit' of the 'Pioneering Spirit'. This local paper article (only available in the Dutch language) shows that there was a big 'audience' too.

Turning this monster around and berthing again will take quite some time I suppose. Another good shot of the "pioneering Spirit".

Great shot and a wonderful newspaper article SEA. Google translated it for me. Many great facts were in the article. Good information about the festive crowd and even food vendors were on hand. Covid rules could not be strictly enforced, but they didn't seem to mind. Too bad the thunderstorm put a damper on the affair and ruined the after party.
