This capture of a decommissioned coastal trading vessel, also known as coaster was taken at October 31th, 2020.

She has the name 'Zeemeeuw' (in English: Sea Gull), and is located now as a 'museum piece' in the Maritime Museum Harbor in downtown Rotterdam, The Netherlands, hence my title.

Nice image of historical value, Cornelius. I think I remember you saying in some previous posts that you were not fond of seagulls. If my memory is faulty just ignore that. It's a great capture. :)

The Sea Gull looks like she was a great Work Horse (no pun intended) lol - perhaps in her retirement, she will get a nice facelift which she so deserves - Great Capture Cornelius!!!

The Sea Gull must have many stories to tell, what adventures she had experienced, wonderful to see this.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
