This seagull passed me, probably carried by the sea current. He made no attempt to fly away. A seagull probably also needs a rest from time to time after an intensive hunt for fish.
Wow, C., this is a very well organized capture, with nice focus, the bird sailing in from the side (giving direction to the action), and I've always enjoyed the tiny curved ripples produced by the breast of waterfowl as they paddle serenely through the water. The added bonus for me is getting to view a European gull, quite different from our bright white flying pigs here in the U.S. Praise from Richie, our resident bird pro, is something to savor.
