This picture is taken at the Albertina Square in Brussels, Belgium.

It shows that Brussels isn't a complete flat city because of the presence of some not that steep hills. One of them is the depicted Koudenberg.

One can see on this picture too (from the front to the rear side):

-the Queen Elisabeth (Belgium) statue (shown from its backside);

-the equestrian statue of king Albert I and;

-the Church of St. James on Coudenberg.

PS: I'm sorry that the information of some above mentioned links is only available in the Dutch and/or French language (in Brussels two languages are spoken: French and Dutch).

I too appreciate the angle on this shot - it tells me that things are not as flat as I had thought.

Composition gives us the beauty and strength of this scene. And additional info provided is a good idea. I will get there someday!

A beautifully composed image. I especially appreciate the equestrian statue overseeing everything !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
