Taken on February, 27th in my garden. Meanwhile they're gone due to a recent storm (March, 13th) with accompanying rain showers.

Lovely looking little crocus, or at least they look like crocus. Whatever, you've taken them in a beautiful setting. To bad they couldn't have stayed around a little longer.

Lovely contrasts in the colors. Too bad you didn't have longer with them.

I too love crocus and am awaiting their appearance around here. This is so sweet a shot Mr. C. - I'm sorry you lost them so soon.

How lovely this is ! I do love crocus. (Another beauty hiding its toxicity) Here we are awaiting the appearance of the autumn ones.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Exceptional DOF here, C. Only a couple aren't tack sharp, and only that by a small margin. You regularly put NatGeo to shame.
