A great shot was a shutter speed or two away. I think I shot this in one of the auto modes on my Nikon D40x. I saw this bird go down for a drink and decided not to mess with the settings. I sacrificed the great shot for a good shot, but I'm happy I did. What do you think? Shot at f/5.6, 1/200 s, ISO 100, 200mm

Regardless of the shutter speed situation...this shot is really kickin, haha. I am a huge fan of angles, and you Defintely chose an interesting one that works wonders for this picture. Great composition :)

This was definately a good choice, the pose of the bird and the proportions of the photo simply work.
