Anyone is welcome to alter the perspective on this. I already tried. ;0) These windows must be really clean to be able to see the support beams on some of the floors through the windows.
This shot reminds me of the office building in downtown Chicago where I worked for 31 years. Even though it was a federal building they did find money in the budget to wash the windows quarterly - LOL. Very nice city shot.
If you check my Facebook page in a few minutes I'll have the ShiftN version posted. It didn't change all that much, but I'm surprised it didn't have a mental breakdown while trying. There are so many parallels and perpendiculars that I have no idea how the program figures out what is what. I'm especially intrigued with that guy mooning you through the window near the top left. Some folks just can't take anything seriously. :-)
I love the reflections of the sky and the clouds off the windows. It is apparent that the building is surrounding by every manner of structure. Otherwise you would have stepped back and had the entire structure in the shot...especially the top floors which are certainly filled with more excellent reflections. My suggestion is to have the building moved out into the country and shoot it among the fall foliage.
I ran it through Skitzo's software and it forgot where it was or that is was an office building when I finished. The reflection makes the shot for sure COG. Good post.
I downloaded the shiftN and it corrected it some on the left side, but made the right side looked bowed. I think your shot looks better of the two...to me anyway! Lots of windows to wash for someone there, but I hope they don't wash the sky off! LOL. Nice work, Cindy.
The glass walls with their reflections look beautiful Cindy. I downloaded it and tried straightening the left side but was not satisfied with my own work so gave up.
I wonder how many birds fly into those windows. I only have to clean mine and within an hour they are flying at my windows creating an almighty thump as the reflections confuse them! This is lovely and I love to see these types of buildings where the windows reflect everything around them. Well done! Ann
Lovely reflections Cindy and I like the perspective as it is - great clarity as well. Contest entry? But I could not resist a challenge so had a go - result is HERE I believe that building is a optical illusion lol
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
