very similar spot as where Blueberry Trail was taken, on a different day however. i'm sorry about the partial overexposure in the snow, there were just soo high contrasts that day, so i exposed more for the rest of the scene, and i didnt have a tripod there to bracket 2 and overlap them.

Excellent photo. Composition, color, focus, and contrast are very professional looking in this one. Nice work.

I wouldnt have known it was over exposed if you hadnt hae said. I agree with above, i love the way that the snow undulates in the foreground, its so smooth and a lovely contrast against the dark spiky trees. Lovely work

I agree with the above posts, the exposure looks fine. If you expose for the snow then you loose significant amounts of shadow detail in the trees, etc. The photo does look over-sharpened though. Otherwise, good work!

undulating :)

i agree with the oversharpening, i dont know what its from, i had the sky looking good in photoshop, but then it looks all blotchy on the web now, also the treeline on the left side started looking crappy now, i'll look at fixing it up, i just never know if its reposting, cuz i dont want to lose all these coments, but its very good to have too many very similar pictures.

I dont know much about all the "technical" things here, but I DO know how this photo gives off great feelings. The quiet it portrays..the soft yet crispness of the snow...the tall reaching trees..up into that gorgeous blue sky! And then those soft shadows...it all makes for a most wonderfully beautiful photo! Thank you so much for this image posting...nice work..verena

Wow. Mercy me. How beautiful Was this taken with a D70 also? Absoluetly out of this world in beauty, color, composition and skill. Someday, perhaps I shall be as skilled.
