Evidence left behind from clearcutting in the forestry reserve. we went wintercamping in the area this weekend. it was up to +15C, but there was still snow, it was great. Tell me what you think!
Hey Carl, great photo ... your consistent strength. Excellent capture of the looming sky. It's a challenge to find colours in this transition season, you did well. It looks a bit like a summer sky.
Have you considered a collaboration with BJB on framing? She's been doing some stunning work with other photographers. Just a thought, it would be great to see the talents meet.
hmm, I like this one because its different, but i think the sky looks like it is cut out from another picture. I don't think it fits into this one very well. Im assuming you edited it differently then you edited the rest right. I also notice a black linish thing between the trees and the sky. I think without that line the sky might not jump out as much and maybe fit better. Ohwell. It still looks pretty sweet. Kinda surreal.
"A piece of toast with butter always lands butter side down, and a cat always lands on its feet. What happens if a piece of toast is tied butter side down to the back of a cat? Does it perpetually hover above the ground in indecision when dropped?"
Gosh! The savages have been busy. Looks like something one would see on a World War One battlefield. The sky is odd but I think it works: it serves as a warning, pointing an angry finger at the folly of greedy men. Not quite sure about the dark bubbly frame...but the photo itself is a winner. Well done.
