i've never done much bird photography, although the 80-200 is a pretty good lens for it. there were a couple of these chickidees flying around the ravine while i was shooting, one even got too close for me to focus, it just hard because they never land for more than 2 seconds.

You did a fine job on this one. The focus must have been tricky with the branch in front of the bird but you got every feather perfectly and even his shiny little eye.

This is beautiful to see, and lust like you said, we don't see them in our gardens for more than a few seconds before they are gone. This one will stay a little longer! All these matching and soft colours are pleasing to the eye. Thanks.
