probably the same bird as in my last post Puff Ball i used manual focusing here because autofocus was too slow and would usually hit branches which are more contrasty than the birds. hope you like

Great shot. The depth of field does an adiquet job blurring out the confusing lines caused by the bushes to centre the attention i think. Perhaps a little bit of a tighter crop would be good if you want something negative.

This is quietly beautiful. It doesn't scream out in thumbnail view "look at me"....but baby when you open it up full size.....it just made me say WOW. Precious little creature, seems so fragile to with-stand such climate, and looks so tranquil. The colors and depth of field...this whole capture...wish I could give you way higher than a 10! Excellent!

I'd rather see more bird unless the omposition has other interesting things to see . I get confused with branches going everywhere. My old eyes I suppose..

Nice photo! The depth of field is perfect, and the bird draws the eye in. The only suggestion I'd make is crop a wee bit off of the top of the photo. There's a wee bit too much "head room" for my taste, but that's just me.

The weather is chilly but the bird looks completely comfortable :) I like the background blurred with full attention on this cute Puff Ball. Love that name. Also like seeing the crystals in the snow. Brrrr it's cold - but Beautiful.............
