Nice one. I don't even mind the sun and the blown out reflections. It is interesting. I would guess that wasn't the easiest exposure to get.

No one wanted to pay to say something in my sig, so i will have to try and think of something creative now...
Did you use a polarizing lens on this, Carl? It's so gorgeous and of course I saved it. The quality of the ice itself is fascinating, and I'm trying to figure out where the heck you were standing when you took this....Any way you look at it, it's an excellent piece of work.

i was standing on the ice at the shore, holding my camera about 6" off the ice about a 12" below my feet. and yes i used a polarizer, thanks for the comments

I really like this image Carl. It's magical in that it really grabs and holds onto the viewer. Even the lens flair adds to the magic of the moment.
If I was going to crop out anything, it would have been the telephone pole. Still it's such a small thing that it does nothing to the over-all impact.
