taken from the island on the Nahanni River where we made camp 18 days into our trip on the Nahanni. right here this canyon in the Nahanni Plateau is almost a KM deep!

Terrific !! I was going to say something about the horizon line, but I'm getting so I can't tell anymore where there are mountains and hills, and things that aren't straight, so if you don't see it, forget we ever talked about this <<LOL>> :)

no i agree with you entirely, the river should not be flowing 'uphill' as it is. however this is what happened in order to fit the entire canyon into the shot
