Excellent focus and detail on this magnificent bird. The tree in the foreground, however, is very distracting in its present position.

The tree is a little distracting but the bird is in great detail! It is difficult to capture a picture of this bird, and it has such a unique face! Thanks for sharing :) God Bless

Great capture of this magnificent bird! I would have to agree with wencele regarding the tree. The bird is captured great but perhaps could be placed in a different part of the frame to alleviate the distraction of the tree a little (perhaps cropping would help this).

A lovely Heron you've captured Dan. He does look in charge of the others and very wise. Good details of his pretty feathers & alert gold eye. The water is a lovely shade of blue and has good movement ripples. I have to agree with all the above, about the tree. Other than that this is a splendid image :*))
