I really hope you enjoy this picture, as it took me quite some time to get ready for you! It was taken at the zoo. I had to edit the whole photo to take out the cage, enhance the colors, blur the background, and level the contrast. all comments welcome, your vote is very important!

Oh waht a beautiful animal!! and the fact you did all that work patiently to fix the photo...I think that says a lot..I can't ever seem to figure out what to do to enhance a picture...but you did great...He looks so playful..or was he stretching just before pouncing? or after? lol...either way, its a wonderful photo!!

I like how you took out the cage. I have some shots from behind metal link fences and it is so distracting. Check out www.shambalapreserves. You will find some nice animals there and Bill the photographer there is great!

its a great edit for sure but to my eye there is something slightly out of sink with the colour making the tiger almost unatural looking. I think it would be more balanced if either the grass was brightened and saturated more or, more effectively, if the tiger colour was toned down a little to blend better with its surroundings. its just a slight quibble with an otherwise excellent job. well done.

This picture is going into my favorites. I love the colour contrast between the green and the orange. I also cannot believe that this picture came from your original. The way the the tiger's back is arched makes it seem so fluid and really enhances the picture. Great job!

I was reading your tutorial and saw the reference to the actual picture. The photo as a whole is gorgeous. I do think the stripes are too dark...a little past natural. But shucky darn, I can't take my eyes off his beautiful face or off of those mammouth claws. Put the fence back up
