And I'm glad it caught your eye, Debb, because this is well done and very pleasing. The light is perfect and your clarity throughout makes this a marvelous desktop. I'll look forward to seeing the next thing that caught your eye! - Patty

Wonderful job Debb, you're right about the light and just the way the scene fits your eye. Very nice my dear.

What a wonderful view this is. Mother nature splashing a puddle onto the path with terrific reflection. Great post and thanks for sharing it Debb.

You've got a good eye for color and composition, Debb, and I love the way you've captured this. I'm sure you're happy to have that puddle to maybe splash in?? I know you've needed the moisture up there, so I imagine that this puddle meant a lot more to you than just a lovely spot for those reflections to reside. It also makes for a perfect place to continue the greens from one side to the other as the reflected light is so clear, pulling the two sides of the picture together :) The sun is making some wonderful shadows here on the leaves producing an almost spring-like green on the left of this composition, and with the break of the ground it relieves the eye as it is drawn over to the richer green painted on the right. The shafts of light again strike here and there, esp on the slender trunks of the trees and down near the ground showcasing a balance of light. The DOF is good too as one's eye travels down the road through the canopy of trees. I can't leave without commenting that the clarity holds up very well throughout, and I want you to use that camera more often, young lady !!! :))))PJ

Nice warm light - the capture must have been taken in the afternoon. And it rained not so long ago, there is a huge puddle in the middle. It looks so familiar, very similar to the nearby forest.

Lovely area to take a picture, I would hate to be next to that puddle if a car came along, though i suspect it would take a four wheel drive to get down there. Good shot and thanks for sharing.

A common type of shot done with uncommon care. Your comp sets me walking down that road with you. This one just landed right on my DT, I could use a nice summer walk!
