Nice subject matter here. I like it, and it gives the impression that you had to work hard to get to this spot. I wish the horizon were level. It's distracting. The contrast could be pushed with almost any imaging software like irfanview (free and small and fast) or Paintshop (large, cumbersome, $50 US), but all in all it's a really good image.

Great scenery, I don't see anything at your feet so it makes me a little dizzy thinking you were hanging out over nothing to get it. You had a clear day to see so far.

Ahhh, that takes me back. For those who don't know, the haze in the background is a characteristic feature of the Blue Mountains (related to the local vegetation) and can scarce be avoided. This is actually a very clear shot for that location.

Really amazing rock formations. From what vantage point were you shooting?

"A piece of toast with butter always lands butter side down, and a cat always lands on its feet. What happens if a piece of toast is tied butter side down to the back of a cat? Does it perpetually hover above the ground in indecision when dropped?"

Alexis, there's actually a viewing platform at about the right angle for this, within walking distance of downtown Katoomba. There's even a big visitor center with several gift shops in it (still under construction when I was there two years ago) and a parking area for all of the buses that go there. They know how to accommodate tourists in that area.

Nice shot. The view is spectacular! Just don't slip and fall, it is a long way down!

Beautiful angle...how on earth did you get it? Nicely lit and colored.

Great job.
