Went hiking at Drake's Estero today and, wonder of wonders, the sun came out! Well, not over the water, but over the hills nearby. Some naked ladies here, enjoying the sunshine.

Composition makes this...well, that and the beautiful naked ladies..although it is a little pastel in exposure, that is one of the reasons why I like it. The light blue of the sky and the muted greens on the hills right up to the pinks are captivating and in my faves. :)PJ

Thanks, PJ. I'm glad you like it this way. The exposure looks much better, with better color saturation, on the file I loaded. I don't know why it got lighter when caedes posted it. I'm glad you like it, but I'm not real happy about it.

What a lovely environment for a hike Donna. The different shades on the ridge along with the beauties in the foreground make for a lovely scene. First time I've seen 'naked ladies' and they are beautiful. Good job, thanks for sharing this with us.

The composition you chose for this is perfect, Donna. And the flowers pop out almost like 3D. It's strange that the colors shifted. It's one thing for us viewing it with all of our different monitors, brightness settings and video cards but for it to be different on yours is weird. In any case, the saturation looks fine on my monitor and your photo is very well done!

Well everyone is just going to look at this, you know that! :) But because it is such a gorgeous shot; the flowers are beautiful as well as beautifully placed and contrast so wonderfully with that deep blue sky and the green hills. I really don't think it is too light.

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva

I was a little distracted by the name you gave your image, and could not find a single naked Lady, but those flowers will do as well, just lovely.

Ah=ha, so that's what those beautiful flowers are.... I spend summers in Alderson, WV, and every August I would walk in the 'hood and find that almost overnight beautiful pink lilies would spring out of nowhere. And they'd have no leaves. And since I couldn't talk to anybody, it was a mystery to me what they were until this fall. Very nice.

The way you have the sky pouring into the mountain, the mountain pouring into the flowers and the flowers pouring into the lower edge of the picture seems to be a rendering of the 'rule of thirds' in motion. It sets up the shot quite well and as many others have commented, it is breathtaking. Well done.
