Just some interesting driftwood and rock action at the edge of the Lyell River in Yosemite. Thanks to all who view and comment. Sorry about my lack of participation these past weeks. Life and work are a little overwhelming at present. Miss you guys!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round?? Picture Purrrfect .

Great photo Donna. The limbs, trees, etc that are caught between rocks, give you the idea of the power of this river. It looks calm, but can be quite explosive. Great composition and good eye to notice this.

I would have loved to climb around on those rocks when I was a kid. Not any more. I'd fall in. This is a very nice picture. I love the reflections.
