Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??
Vertical photos are not normally my favorite but this is really nice. Love the rock, water, spruce, tracks and sky. I know it is a road but I like to think it's tracks for trains. Great post Donna.

Great use of the rocks to clearly define the foreground, and establish the depth of the shot. Depthof field and details are quite good. The one detractor is that the light and color seem a bit overly muted. Were you trying to counter some out of control highlights?

A nice lead into the shot with those big white rocks. The blues are really pretty, especially the water.

Love the color of this water. What part of the lake is this? I got out to California many times but never to this area. Someday, I will have to do that.
