Really nice. The grays in the mountains are great.This does not look dark on my monitor.

What a stunning place. As soon as i saw this i realised it must be Canada. I think that the composition of the image is so clever and well thought out. On first glance the focus on the photo appears to be the trees but when you look at it full screen you realise that the real star is in fact those absolutely stunning mountains that are a quite presence in the background. It is perfectly balanced, lighting is phenomenal and the real triumph is that you chose black and white! Utter perfection in my opinion!

It's a beautifully balanced photo with an excellent range of light and dark. The scene itself is impressive and your photo certainly does it justice. I might have liked a little more space on the left, past the point of land,but generally the composition is magnificent. Bravo!

Majestic is the word that comes to my mind on this image, Doughlas. The trees make the landscape but the mountains make the majesty. Beautiful -

Caveats?
With a qualifier upfront, in that I am viewing your image here on a CRT monitor..
A tad dark. A tad. Some details appear to be blocked in the shadowed areas.
That said and reiterating..
Nice shot.
