Just what the title says; applied a soft focus. I like the swirls in the grass.

I agree with Les, it's a good candidate for the current contest.

The work of art may have a moral effect, but to demand moral purpose from an artist is to make him ruin his work. (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe - 1832)

The slightly soft focus here gives this a magical look. Well done. Faved.

Killer shot and I agree that it would be an awesome entry to the Simplicity shot. I'm glad someone already recommended it to the Art Council, hope I get to vote on it's inclusion. Absolutely gob smacking good composition, great interplay of the colours, great contrasting textures in the grasses central and peripheral. To top it off the fencepost has just enough of that "crosspiece" happening to hint at a crucifix evocation with a long history in European imagery. Nailed it at every level with this one mate.

It is not "The powerful attack the weak." it is "The fearful attack what they fear."
