All you need is one and this is so fine! I love the angle at which you captured the edge of the leaf, like you got right down nose to nose. Great image, Don, 10/10!
I have never tried to take a picture of a butterfly but I understand it can sometimes be difficult...as Alexis said, all you need is one, especially when that one turns out as great as this one...a real beautiful capture, Don...high marks and favs.:Pat.
You might not have many of these but what you lack in quantity you certainly make up for it in quality. The level of detail is excellent and the blurred background enhances the flutterby’s form perfectly.
before all the words: the details of this image are PERFECT.
i can't believe what a perfect close up you've made.. tremendous details and a spectacular image! along with the magical subject.. its wings seem translucent and it looks so tender, fragile and yet beautiful! i love the shades and decorations on its wings, it's such a wonderful specie..
i'm impressed with the way you've captured this tiny animal on this leaf.. just by looking its little legs on the edge of the leaf, i begin to understand the micro world all around us..
the lightning, the composition, the subject.. everything is perfect. you have a tru talent.. i think you're one of the top photographers here on caedes! believe me, i know what i'm saying. :)
oh, and.. i love the title again :D nice twist :)
thank you for sharing this amazing animal with us.. and again, enjoy your day :)
love the flutterby ... i agree with all above the transparent wings and calrity of the butterfly make this picture perfect ... i just wish i could get them to hold that still :)
