Lovely contrast in this picture, I really like.

Well, if ever I wanted to explain to someone why I'm not a cat lover, I'd take this picture and point to the cat's eyes. Very freaky...almost reminds me of a shark rolling its eyes back in its head before biting down on a surfer.

As for the photo itself, I would probably give it a 4 out of 10 in the voting booth. The shot has no "wow" factor unless you're a great lover of cats. The cat's face is in focus, and I like the green ivy background. I'm a little mystified by the white object under the cat. I probably would have cropped the shot to minimize the white dead space at the bottom and made sure that I included the cat's entire front paw.

But that's just my opinion.

It was so bright out when I did this picture that the cement did not show up. when I tried to darken the cement it was throwing everything off but do I agree with you completely. I even tried adding yellow to the eyes but no go.
