This is very pretty. The colouring reminds me of oil on water when caught at just the right angle by the sun, but it is somehow arranged into these much straighter, less globular shapes. Parts of it also look like folds of some satiny, multicoloured fabric, but in other places the lines criss-cross too much and the illusion vanishes. It is a bit of a hodge-podge from that point of view, but it is such a pretty hodge-podge I wish I could find a daintier, less clumsy sounding name to describe what is not at all clumsy!

One thing it doesn't look at all like to me is chalk. Sorry about that, but I never see what I'm meant to see in fractals so this shouldn't be taken personally!
