I went one day without posting a bird pic, I know I said I would stop for awhile, but this one was begging for a post. He even turned the other way and dropped his seed, just to sit and pose for all of his friends here at Caedes.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

A wonderful profile shot of this Nuthatch Gregg ... looks like he was ready for the camera also. Keep 'em coming & I still think you should publish your own bird book. Excellent work.
You know, I am always glad, when you post a bird, since you do shots of them in your very special way all the time. I think this is a very beautyful bird and he looks a bit, as if he wears an eye make up.
Gosh Gregg, I feel like you are sitting in my back yard taking pictures of my birds :)
I love to watch the nuthatches. They are not bit shy (at least mine aren't) and wait very impatiently for me to fill the feeder..sometimes even swooping down to encourage me to hurry up!!
Your capture of this feathered friend is delightful as well as of high photography standards. Keep up the good work. Thank you for sharing this with me ;=)
Hey there Mister Madman, wat'cha know that I don't know
Tell me some crazy stories, let me know who runs this show
Glassy-eyed and laughing, he turns and walks away
Tell me what made you that way

Hello Gregg...Your bird pictures are wonderful...Perfect detail ..The blurred background certainly projects the main subject..The shot taken at eye level makes this picture a pleasure to view...Well done...All the best....Mick.
