My last hummer photo for the year, I promise. And he stuck his tongue out at me as he said goodbye, and flew off into the sunset to his new home for the winter. I will miss my little Hummer, have a nice flight, and I will see you again in the spring.

Hate to hear it's your last Hummingbird post. Since spring is my favorite time of the year, I will look forward to seeing him again. As usual compostion and clarity are there. Good post.

I don't think he was sticking his tongue out at you..I think he was checking the wind to see where his best flight plan would lie on his journey to warmer climes..great job, my friend.

Well, it's a terrific finale for the season, Gregg. I miss them too. I wonder why he stuck his tongue out. Of course, they are very playful birds as I have come to find out. Wonderful shot!

As always very sharp on focus and the background well blurred. I like that colourful scarf around his neck! Great job, Gregg.
