I don't give up so easily. I noticed one of the ruin series photos has been deleted. But here we go with a new one. I hope this will be at least archived.
I had a chuckle over your intro Ewa… you rebel :-)
I love the composition with the ruins and the rocks forming a triangle so the eye roams from one to another and stays within the photo to find all the little details. My only real complaint is that you didn’t tell us what the ruins are or where they are, you got me all curious.
These old ruined castles look so picturesque. Too bad the other one was deleted. This is well done, like others, I like the big rocks around it too, and colors are great. Good to remember warmer days.
Some extra words of introduction for Robert: that's one of the greatest attractions in Jura, Poland - medieval strongholds which created so called "eagles' nests", the system of fortified castles on the Polish-Czech borderline in the XIV century. They were built of limestone upon rocky hills and perfectly blended in the landscape. This one was erected in Mirow.
The extra info is appreciated Ewa. It’s the kind of landscape I enjoyed exploring as a child, full of surprises with birds and flowers. We have similar landscapes in Oz but minus the ancient ruins of course and I still like to explore them.
Pure beauty. How wonderful to find places like this ruin. It is so silent now. But it could tell many a tale, I'm sure! Lovely peaceful appearing area. Thanks for the information given and this beauty...
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority.
