The bright greens are beautiful and very refreshing. Maybe the fawn went to get a drink at the nearby brook? The only thing about this is the white sky, but it adds a summery feel. I also love the sunlight shining through the trees and the detail. Wonderful shot!
wow this is beatuiful! the colors are so amazing, i love the spring green of leaves. and I like how faint the stream is but my eyes still wander down it. The lighting is beautiful, as hernoor said very refreshing. nice shot, into my favorites! ~abby
I think I can still see the faun or at least his little hoof ... or its print in the stream.
Ewcia, many thanks and absolutely magical congratulations !!!
we've just returned from a photo trip. i apologize for all the comments i didn't send regarding both your photos and your comments to my photos. it would take forever. so please forgive me.

I hope that was 'ME' you were referring to Ewa.......I can wait a'hind this tree all day long! there is a nice bench...just big enough for the two of us.....to just sit and 'wallow' in this beauty of a forest!!!!!!!!!!
Well ... we might need our hiking boots for this one ... but, with such an extremely inviting setting ... how can I resist.
This ... this colour palette is my absolute favourite. Instantly, my mind is put at ease and that small ravine would look spectacular with just a hint more of water babbling its' way down the incline.
Let's not forget those trees ... in full bud, leaves ever so vibrant and rich. Add that touch of sunlight peeking in through the canopy ... nice. Oh ... quick! ... I think I see our faun ... be quiet now ... and let's watch this delicate beauty in the most natural of surroundings.
Gorgeous image. Yes, 'spring has sprung' ... which means, hopefully, we get more 'reports' from you. I look forward to the next update. :o) )
