Beautiful shot, Tanju.

I really like the sense of depth created/perceived in the way the shot recedes into the background.

Composition is strong. Good good detail and clarity under challenging lighting conditions.

Caveats?

Not really.. more of a suggestion instead.

And this is minor nit-picking, but, perhaps something to keep in mind for future reference.

Cambridge in Color | "Using the Photoshop Curves Tool"

In particular, the section titled; "Transition of Clipped Highlights" that appears about at the midpoint of the linked webpage above.

"Note the transition at the sun's border. In general, the highlight transition can be made more gradual by decreasing the curve's slope at the far upper right corner."

Use your mouse to rollover the sample image to view the difference.

That said..

I know this sounds redundant by now.. however, and forging ahead.. always nice to see you back with some images.

+favs for me.

This is really nice and makes for a great desktop. And I thank you for sharing this one with us.

The color is silky and rich. The progression from ultra-crisp water to haze softened sky is beautiful. And I am always a sucker for the gradient lightening of mountains due to haze, as they fade off into the distance. So pretty!

By the way, that is an impressive bridge in the background!

I get such a keen sense of mood when viewing this one Tanju. I like the color, and it's well composed. I noticed that bridge as well, and looks like a busy place to be at the end of the day. tigs=^..^=

Perfectly timed sunset shot, Tanju. See only in the distance some haze. It's not a disadvantage however, but it's on the contrary because it enhances the exuded mood in a positive way.
Well done again, my friend!

It is exztremely difficuly to get such detail in conditions like this but you certainly have. The buildings and the bridge are very detailed and clear despite the sun being behind them. The reflection on the water is magnificent. Altogether a superb shot Tanju.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Tanju - Wow! The muted tones and distant haze, coupled with the beautiful colors reflected on the water, give this a sense of beauty and tranquility. Well done!
