never seen a tool for justice + freedom ... death + destruction look so resplendent and beautiful, timeless and angelic in a setting evening sun.

This is not a Strike Eagle, it is a one seater which means it is probably a C model, thus negating the Strike from it's name.

I'm not what you would call an airplane connaisseur, but regardless...this is a beautiful piece of photography. The talent it takes to be behind the lens and capture this in the perfect lighting is hard to describe. Kudos!

Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.

Nicely done...you've really captured the essense of "slipping the surley bonds of earth..." If anyone gets a chance they should read the poem "High Flight" and then look at this picture. It'll add a whole new depth...

Technical Note: This is the single-seat, air superiority version of the F-15, so it's either a A or C model (hard to tell given that the AIM-9 missiles on the outboard stations look old, so it could be an A model). The Strike Eagle (F-15E) is a two-seat version that performs Strategic Attack and is pretty easy to recognize with their conformal fuel tanks.

One of the best military aircraft similar to the Mig Fulcrum, which currently has been bought by the US Administration from Russia.
