A very interesting and fine capture, Frank.
Australia does a lot of scientific research activities.
Recently the sophisticated RSV 'Nuyina' was fitted out at the Damen shipyard near my hometown. The vessel was handed over on 19 August 2021 to Australia, and in September she traveled from the Netherlands to Australia. To her departure a lot of of attention was paid in the Dutch news media.

I*m guessing the travelers are allowed to explore ashore. A die-hard kayaker, I love getting into places the big boats are not able to. While stationed in the Philippines, back in the 1970s, I met up with Aussie sailors a number of times, finding them quite friendly. Visiting their home country would be terrific. For a lot of us here in the U.S., a trip to Australia and New Zealand is a dream trip. It is certainly in my bucket list.
