....today I was in Macclesfield walking from Macclesfield Forest across High Moor and heading towards (well you need to check my next photograph to see where that is :) ) If you look down the left hand side of the photograph you can see the path I have just taken which goes over the Moor onto the hill then disappears beyond that point down into the forest.

What a great hike that must have been Patti. Magnificant country and it looks like a beautiful end to the day.

RazorJack's got my number on this pic, Patti. The hues have it for me too. There are so many different shades of honeyed gold and tawny tans, that it's a delight to see, and that's possible only because your clarity is so rousing it permits them all to flow into a wonderous glow in the foreground rolling out to the gentle hills in the background. I don't want to forget to mention the complimentary scatterings of greens, and the textures of the rocks you placed in this composure in the foreground as well...You and Marilyn and your new cameras...hmmm... :)PJ

This is just too pretty Patti. I love the colors here. Reminds me of Fall. I see there are a few rocks to sit down on in case you get tired to rest for a few minutes. Beautiful countryside here. Let's take the path and see where it leads.

Hi Patti, this is a wonderful capture and it's nice to see the wide open space untouched. You can almost feel the quiet and smell the fresh clean air. Keep up the good work! Thanks for sharing.
