when you walk through the woods, I want you to feel ...that no mere human could make this real, could create these wonders of earth and sky - something greater than you or I.... poem anon. I don't know who wrote it, but I really like this poem. sooooo.....anyone who disappeared into the pub or the cafe are going to miss the walk back through the woods. ;) but we're heading that way, so save us a seat and get in a round! lol!

*snorts at digi "for a girl" ha* I've seen so many great trees on here lately from all over and these are no exception. And even though I understand there is nothing manmade here, but I just love it when they're allowed to grow and someone takes care of the undergrowth so there is room for the sunlight to nourish and for the trees to draw the nutrients they need from the soil. I live in the woods, and it's not a pretty sight most times when they are left to their own devices. See? I didn't know what you were going to find out there, so I got to the bar early and tried to protect John from the dart players...lol.... :)PJ

That's pretty. Love the light green way up in the canopy and in several other locations. The sloping forest floor is intriguing. Well done.

Wow, a very peaceful picture. Though, if that same picture was taken in North Carolina, it wouldn't be there after 10 years.
