....and yes I put this one under people, because it was the old man I was capturing here and his mood. You could see he was lost in thought - his body language and the look in his eyes made me feel quite sad! This photograph was taken on Sunday at Dunham Massey Park in Altrincham Cheshire. Amazing that one day I am in the Derbyshire Hills in deep snow and mist and the next day I am in Cheshire and the sun is out. I will intersperse the photos from both days, so that I do not become monotonous! :)

He looks like he belongs in this shot! You can almost hear his thoughts. I think this would make a great painting Ms. Fogz! Should find someone capable of doing that! Excellent capture..thought provoking and beautiful!

WHAT IS MAN WITHOUT THE BEASTS? If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness of the spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected. ~Chief Seattle VISIT MY GALLERY

I wonder if he was thinking of a lost love? Or day dreaming of a new one for Valentines Day? We may never know. Very good shot again, Ms Fogz. It's in my favorites and on my desktop. ;-)

Great title Patti and the scene, while looking a bit cold, is very sentimental as well. What is he thinking on this clear day with just the right amount of sunshine...a long lost love....a current love. Whatever it is, you've portrayed it perfectly. Great work.

Please know that I enjoy your work even though I don't always get to comment. I try to look at (and enjoy) all your new posts and always appreciate the time you take to stop in at my gallery as well. Have a happy day ;) Anita

You certainly lived up to your title with this one and I have to agree with all the others that have been here before me and been touched by this photo of this gentleman lost in his own private world. I also notice that the surroundings are beautiful too..can't help but notice that huge tree that creates a moody background as well...wonderful eye you have, my dear.

Not just a good picture but a wonderful portrait. Thoughtful and thought-provoking. Maybe as the river goes by he's thinking of days gone by... Very touching.

This has more meaning for me than you know. I have a picture of of a dear Aunt sitting by a pond at a retirement center, contemplating her life- well spent I might add. I will post it sometime. Great work capturing this one.
