....a photograph I took in on the Charles Bridge in Prague in November 05 - the old couple approaching and the amazing statues and architecture were a reminder of the history of Prague - hope you like this in sepia - I thought it gave the picture an historical feel. Hans requested some photos so I am digging out my old photographs and as they were taken with my little Nikon Digicam, they are not brilliant quality, but with a bit of work, I think some of them might be worth posting. :)

Patti, watching your image and not reading the text, my first impression was that it was a historical image. After reading that this image was taken in 2005, I can conclude that you've reached your goal. Cornelius

Amazing work with this one. Yes, this old couple makes the image perfect, even I fear, they are just two of those many homeless people there in Prague. But I also enjoy seeing my favorite bridge again and so I sign Hans' request: Post more.

I remember this one, because I remember commenting on the older couple in the front...I've been here forever, it seems ::LOL:: This may not be exactly the same TAKE AS SEEN HERE but it's close, and I like the sepia better than the color in the original. Good work, my dear.

This is very cool, Patti. The only thing that gives away the true age of the shot is the clothing on everyone except the elderly couple.

Patti: there can be no better use of this forum than to chronicle what has passed. Who were these people? Where were they going?
The pants on the ladies would make this photo the 60s at the earliest.
As with old photos I often wonder if we could call back in time and tell them one thing what would it be?
