Such a lovely spring image and I'm thinking of spring as it is rainy and windy here. Very nice Patti.
I sort of remember a song (Ferry cross the mercy) some of the words anyway! :)sandi ♪ ♫ ♪
After I read Tigz comments I wanted to hear Ferry Cross the Mersey by Gerry and the Pacemakers. Now they all have pacemakers. Sorry. I envy your budding spring. All we have is budding snow. Beautiful colors. The buds remind me of the Dogwood. Nice hopeful post Patti.

Yesterday I was 'shouting' in one of my comments: 'Spring is in the air.', this morning, however, everything outside was white again because of hoar frost. Hope nature is that strong that these blossoms survive.
Beautiful capure Patti.

That is fantastic that you have blossoms in February. I have Cherry trees and every April I get blossoms similar to yours. But, this is really nice to see, now, in Winter.
Possibly almond blossom? A beautiful and elegant shot with a carefully composed background too, which can make or break shots like these. This one's a sure winner!
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
Wonderful spring blossoms Patti! I envy you, I wish it could be spring here too, but have to wait a couple of month yet. This beuty on my desktop will make me feel a little happier though :-)
What your in spring now. What the hell we still have to get through March and its snowed in April before. Theres a nice April fools prank, 3 feet of snow. I belive that was in 94..Oh yeah very nice picture Patti. I really like the blue sky behind the small flowers.

I love the cherry blossom, it comes so quickly and goes so fast. The Japanese have it right, holding big celebrations when it appears. This one's come out very early, especially for such a northern location. There's a huge one outside my window and it's not even in bud. Lovely reminder of what's to come Patti.

Beautiful...as usual. :) As crazy as it sounds, even here in the frozen Midwestern U.S. it looks like we'll be getting our first crocus blossoms here in the next week or so. I just hope I can get some shots as lovely as this one.
A beautiful shot and so well focused! Here in the north east we had our first broods of Starling already. Unheard of! Sadly the chicks are coming to grief in the cold morning frosts but the power of Nature to adapt and take advantage so quickly to even the possibility of reproduction and growth is wonderful. Whatever damage we do, Life is there always ready and waiting to continue. +tmy+
This is quite an astonishing picture, absolutely astonishing! I love the intricate details in the flowers and the branches, the colors are magnificent - the light shade of the pink...just breath-taking.
One thing that makes this stand out from so many others, in my opinion, is the fact that there are a few flowers yet to bloom and you can really see the transition from the chill of winter to the life and warmth of spring. This is quite a special picture. I can just look at this for hours.
