...........don't ask the title just came in an instant! :) ...Derbyshire of course and in the distance you can see Shuttlingsloe (the hill) - location of the infamous fog on the hill, the pub is that way photo.
Well done Patti, I'd luv to drive around the countryside over there........if I could remember to stay on the right side of the road.......or is that left ?? LOL
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to be. Trust me on this one, I live there. The Lion **** MY CAEDES GALLERY****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE
I really like the layering with this one Patti. Bright colors on the bottom and darker ones on the top. The greens in the middle finish off this great sandwich. Excellent post.
God I'd forgotten all about the Cat & The Fiddle! We played in there about 4 years ago and had a riotous time. Never been to the top here, though your photo makes me regret that a little. I love the distance in this one Patti, empasised by the road's narrowing perspective. Good choice. Tommy

I love the title Patti, it describes well what I feel looking at the expanse of the landscape and the road. Love the range of colours and the composition. :)
This picture so reminds me of being a teenager, Patti. As I have said before, I grew up just outside Macclesfield and all the area east of Macc was our stomping ground either for walks or more often looking for pubs! Great picture. Thanks for the memories.
Gorgeous light in this Patti. I'm not usually a fan of roads in pictures, but the dry stone wall alongside this one makes it work. Gives lots of depth to the picture.
Oh i do like it that you have made it in wide screen 1680x1050. It is a marvelous desktop image. Crisp and clear, i see that you have sharpend it wich is a good thing, and furthermore the shades from the clouds on the landscape is wonderfull.
Great posting.
How blessed you are to live in such a beautiful place. How fortunated we are that you share all this with us. And how beautifully you do photograph all that surrounds you. Thank yu Patti.
