This old tobacco barn/shed is behind an abandoned house that I pass on the way to my Moms. It was very late in the afternoon with the sun almost gone but this old truck was still reflecting the final rays of the sun from its bumper which caught my eye in passing. I just had to turn around and take a photo of it. I'm glad I did and hope that you enjoy. Thanks for your views and comments.

Definitely worth turning back for, Eileen! A most unusual image, which must have been difficult to capture in the twilight. The truck itself made me grin - its headlights make it look like a benign monster. Very attractive image and I especially like how noise-reduction has enhanced your picture and turned it into a rather fine painting. Super!!

Interesting old farm and I love the tree. You need to get some pics of those trees. Nice job.

Wow! I'm glad you did too Eileen! It was definitley worth the drive to get this one! Between the trees the old barn and that truck poking out I dont know which part is my favorite! Like Patti said it looks like a painting that should be in a gallery somewhere. I really like the truck just barely showing..draws ones interest & curiosity! If I'm not mistaken that's a Chevy bowtie emblem on the grille of it. A real beauty my dear friend & now it's in my favs! C):-)

This does indeed look very much like a painting. The effect of the overall color and patterns from the tree make this a very interesting image. I love the old truck sticking its nose out of the barn. Nicely composed, Eileen.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

This is wonderful, Eileen. The colors are terrific and I love the old truck just sticking it's nose into the shot. Great eye -

Looks like a "no trespassing" sign on the barn. You took it just in time.
