Yellow roses symbolize friendship so I'd like to dedicate this rose to all of you. Although we may never meet, I feel as though I have come to know you through the love we all share of capturing the beauty that surrounds us. Please enjoy this rose from my garden this past summer and thanks everyone for your views. A shadow and watercolor effect were given to this to make it look dreamy.Hope you enjoy!

Yellow Roses are my most favorite..so this is wonderful, especially to see it posted in a more or less black and white time of year, at least where I live. Here in ORegon we are having massive destruction with floods, high winds and many other things. So it sure is nice to view this photo of yours.Thank you ever so much for your thoughts..verena

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon

"There's a yellow rose in Texas, that I am going to see,
Nobody else could miss her, not half as much as me.
She cried so when I left her, it like to broke my heart,
And if I ever find her, we nevermore will part.

"She's the sweetest little rosebud that Texas ever knew,
Her eyes are bright as diamonds, they sparkle like the dew;
You may talk about your Clementine, and sing of Rosalee,
But the yellow rose of Texas is the only girl for me."

I know, I know. You used to wish that you could sing. Now you wish that I could.

A photograph worthy of this great little lady.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
