But if the world could remain within a frame like a painting on a wall, then I think we would see the beauty. Then we would stand, staring in awe, at our still lives posed like a bowl of oranges, like a story told by the fault lines and the soil.
I don't need a god to tell me I am a worthless piece of trash. I realize I am not perfect, but I do the best I can, so I feel good about myself no matter what god or anyone else says...
Saying "What is man?" as though we are worthless is really an insult on god, as man is only imperfect because of the way god created him, not because of anything specifically that man can help.
If man is imperfect, it is because god made him that way, just like a car that was created at an auto plant to go only 99 mph will never on its own, be able to go 100 mph no matter how hard it tries.
I don't appreciate a god creating us imperfect, then insulting us for being that way...
