This image was captured on March 12, 2005 It was a beautiful 68 degrees at 1:00PM by 4:00PM it was 32 degrees and snowing. WELCOME TO LIFE IN THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS! I LOVE IT!!
So...THAT's where you were yesterday! ... So nice to see streams that are flowing, not frozen over! And is that green I see? ...Thanks for sending me some. I long for green! I can hear the water Bob .. I like your presentaiton, it leads they eye up the stream, then flowing back down with the water. Great depth and interest. Where's your signature?
Hello Bob, WOW, I can smell the wonderfully fresh air, hear the rippling, the undulating movements of water, in fact I am there!! A big 10 from me with pleasure!! Sincerely, Marilyn
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
I've been through nasty late June snowstorms out there, so your weather tale is not too surprising. What I like about the photo is you didn't blur the water too much....just enough to give a sense of movement and vigor. Somehow I think a "milky" shot of water would not have fit this scene as well as yours does.
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
YEs! for sure THIS is the way to show a mountain stream. The flow of the water shows just right!..and the rocks....the perspective is so right on....I see so many of these streams here in Oregon, many of them end up in beautiful little waterfalls...so I appreciate the beauty you have been able to capture....nice nice pic!! Love your stuff!
This is a nice image Bob but I don't much care for the circle in the center where the contrast was changed and the image was distorted. Next time try using some feathering on your selection so the edge is not so visible. All in all this is a good image.

Edward Weston
It seems that you capture many images that I love.. this is beautiful! And I'm jealous of the fact that you live in the Rocky Mountains. Keep up the awesome work!
