Number nine in my Aspen series. This is a combination of Aspens and cottonwood trees. Aspens are the first trees to grow in an area. After hundreds of years they are choked out by the fir and spruce trees. Because of the wet land that these trees sit upon the Aspens' will give way to the cottonwood trees. This image has always been a favorite of my clients, I hope that you will enjoy it too.

Good morning Robert
I can see why this has always been a favourite. The mix of the two trees, with the depth added by hills in the background and an obviously quite, peaceful road leading between the trees. It is, to my eye, magical. Somewhere to sit a while and become absorbed by clear sounds of nature and the gentle rustling of peace.
