This is the last image in the Garden of the Gods series.I hope that the first three images helped you discover things about this magical place that will help you understand the massive beauty of these rock formations. This last image is to show you the beauty of the area around the park. This is looking west as you first enter the park. The mountain in the background is Pike's Peak. 14110 feet (4301 meters). The wall of red rock is the begriming ,of the spires that all of us have seen in my first image of this series. The road is a circle drive that allows you to travel the entire park The city of Colorado Springs is due east, directly behind you as you view this image..Thank you Colorado Springs for being the Caretakers of the wonderful place.

Spectacular image, Bob, the way you can capture such enormity in one small photo. I'm playing catch up, so I'll have to go back and check the other three. Well done!

The way the clouds follow the contours of the rocks is most impressive, can you teach me how to do that? :-) The trees give some idea how big the rock formations are and the dark clouds add an air of primeval aura to this scene. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this series because the scenery is unique to my eyes.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

To my eye, the clouds take this up several notches the contrast betwen the light and dark swirling cloud shapes and the rock formations really enhances the whole scene. You waited for just the right moment.

What an amazing shot Bob. It's hard to imagine a place so beautiful ...and so you help us all by showing us in a way that makes it real and not reliant on imagination.

You are a gift.
