Very interesting scene you discovered here...I see what you mean...those posts do have a guarded and somewhat threatening look about them...and of course the fog adds to the feeling of suspense...great composition, my friend, and well captured.:Pat.
I like the composition of this very much. I like the fact that although the fog is quite dense and uniform, that you can still see the posts all the way back. Well done.
I can imagine myself walking along the perimeter of the fence with a cup of coffee in hand. Peace and quiet except for the occasional quail cooing and flying off as I get too close to them. The quiet rustle of a rabbit hopping, keeping 2-3 feet ahead of me.Enjoying the fresh air- Nice photo _ Thank You :)
Ooh moody shot, I like it. The fence posts look like train signals, all saying go:-) I can just about feel the fog settling on me as I admire the scene.
as you may note, i have taken a while to post on this? this guy went out of his way to stop whatever was getting over his fence? he decided whoever was jumping (deer?) needed another foot add on to what he had and the steel posts went in first? this boy will fight this for a long time? the fog sets it off, but the work on the fence is, well the kids wouldn't like my words, so i'll hush?
Ok... you got it. I have taken SO many shots of 9 wire and barbed wire fences like this .. in the hope that they would turn out. Nope. Still, the imagery has always struck me as attractive. Now I see that it can be done and that I should continue trying.
Well done Bob, and thanks for sharing. A fog shot! .. how lovely.
