Very neat flower and sweet colors!! The framing kinda throws it though...the red 'n' white frame fights with the red 'n' white flora, your main subject. Perhaps a little less thick yellow frame, same as the inner most part of the bud? That would then draw the viewer into the piece and into your pretty flower.
Awesome flower and capture. I do have to agree with Hottrockin about the frame though. I looks fine in the thumbnail, but viewed full size, the frame really does take away from the flower. Still, beautifully done however.
Stunning and all that and such a wonderful combo of color on teh petals. You couldn't have picked a better frame either. Wonderfully perfect capture of a wonderfully perfect flower!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

You did a great job -- this is an excellent photograph of a fascinating flower. But I have to agree with Randy that you may have "gilded the lily" by framing it. (PS: When people are reduced to arguing about trivia like frames, you know you've got a winner!)

Fraggy, I love flowers and I have never seen one like this. This is beautiful. I have some posts of red and white petunias, but this is like a red and white sunflower. Great capture. Good job. Terry

Fra99y, I did some searching on this image and found that it is a Cosmos flower although I couldn't find a red and white one. Notice the similarities of the flower, 8 petals, yellow center and the petal shape. Also notice the bud. Terry
Cool shot Jizzer.
