Is there a correlative movement called "fractalism" in painting? Are there any painters who are considered "fractalists?"

An excellent show of imagination and design. My hats off to you. A talent rarely seen.
Looks like you have a future in design technology.

I'm rather intrigued by this. So much so I can't tell whether I like it (not wild about the colours, but I like the design). Was this done entirely with fractint or was any post-processing involved? It seems quite smooth for fractint - unless it was rendered at a larger size and scaled, which does seem to help. Are there any tutorials around on using fractint to make these kinds of images (i.e. for wallpaper and not just for mathematics). I'm aware of some sources, but the book that I keep finding mentioned is out of print.

(I'm actually using xfractint, but the difference is probably irrelevant.)

This reminds me of a storm and rain, which I love storms and I wish it would rain every day of the year, so this is on my favorites for sure!

Wonderful, but it needs to be larger, and longer, and higher...to cover a portion of the sky... and you need to do one in yellows and gold and red..... terrific creation!!!
