I tried to make it dreamy with these stupid layers but I don't know any more about them.. seems they just made it worse. It's maybe a little poorly balanced for that "empty" looking space in the upper left corner and in the down right corner but luckily for those who keep their icons on the left the icons cover that space and so there's no such problem anymore.. I don't know about others but I always try to include many thing to my works.. stories, feelings etc. This time I couldn't add the things I wanted and it looks a bit boring to me.

I think you did a fine job on this...the swampish colors and environment coupled with the hint of nighttime lighting on the plants and reeds give it a dreamy yet eerie and unpleasant feeling...I hope that is what you were going for 'cause that's how I see it...still like that 'other' one of yours too...best of luck in the contest.:Pat.

I like the main image and the one merged into the top of the image. The parts that is emerging in the lower left corner and up towards the left edge doesn't interest me as much. I'm absolutely fascinated by the slimy textures in the swamp (or what the main image is of). Quite cool but it doesn't feel as inspired (and inspiring) to me as some of your other work.

it seams that you are the rugh critc of your works.... anyway you wprk well with this stupid layers and get good image...the best thing I like here isthe gamma of colours...it is exselent..good work

Once again, a beautiful piece of art. I can see why you think it's boring because it has less activity than your other pieces, but boring it is not. The places you call empty create a diagonal across your image that causes the eye to move through it easily, giving a smoothness to the viewing. And I absolutely love the blue plants in the top of the piece. it's amazing the depth and interest foliage can add to art, but you have no problems creating depth and interest. if i saw this somewhere, i'd buy a print.
