This will be my last submission for the week as tomarrow afternoon Charlene and I will be driving to Lodi for the Sandhill Crane Festival. I have signed up for a couple of group viewing trips, so maybe some good images next week with a little luck. I will be "Stuck in Lodi" for the weekend. This is a funny image as directly above and behind the egret are two photogs with their tripods and everything set up. They were photographing an egret standing on the concrete, while across the pond I am getting all of the action below their radar.

He is zooming pretty close to the water. Good action shot. Crystal clear image, great lighting and wonderful reflections!

Have a good time at the Festival!

I don't the timing could be any better than this, what a fantastic action capture, and I love how the wing is just about to touch the water. How funny that they are messing with equipment while your getting such a super shot. Have fun, and I will looking forward to some posts from the trip. =^..^=tigs♥

Shall wait.. right here.

Looking forward to seeing the water displacement from the bird's wings.

And..

Will it's wings' tips break the surface or no?

Inquiring minds.. mesmerized eyes.. want to know..

Thanks, again, Garrett.. for sharing these images with us. :o)

Wowsie Garrett, to me this is perfectly timed with his wings just barely missing the water surface. Outstanding action and such detail and clarity in this gorgeous egret. Really like the movement of the water and that reflection is a bonus. Right into my favs
